 | Stage 2 – Taking measurements for the aligners Once you and your dentist have decided that re-alignment of the teeth is necessary and desirable, impressions and photographs of the teeth will be taken and these will be used by the laboratory to design and manufacture custom made Invisalign aligners. |

 | Stage 3 – Explaining the outcome of the treatment Before treatment begins, the Perfect Smile dentist will show the patient a computer model of the perfect smile that they are aiming for, so that they know exactly what’s being planned and also so that they have a mental picture to refer to when summoning the commitment required to make sure the treatment is successful. |

 | Stage 4 – Fitting the aligners The dentist will show the patient how easy it is to take the aligners on and off. Although the aligners are replaced, or upgraded, every two weeks, the Perfect Smile dentist will see the patient every six to 8 weeks, to ensure that progress is being made as expected, and to answer any questions the patient might have. Depending on the exact nature of the case, the treatment should take from twelve to eighteen months. |
