Orthodontist

It’s never too late to improve your greatest asset – your smile.

An orthodontist specialises in treating any facial or dental irregularities, such as crooked teeth, uneven smiles and bad bites.

Orthodontic treatments help prevent any dental problems caused by your teeth, while helping you achieve a straighter, more even and perfect smile. Orthodontic treatments aren’t just for children. A large percentage of our patients are adults and they agree that it’s never too late to improve their greatest asset – their smile.

At Perfect Smile, our range of orthodontic treatments doesn’t just improve the appearance of your smile, but also prevents any dental problems caused by misaligned teeth.

Misaligned or crooked teeth can affect the way you smile, chew and clean your teeth, contributing to problems such as uneven tooth wear, gum disease and tooth decay. Misaligned teeth can also cause problems such as speech impediments, headaches and jaw joint pain.

Our orthodontic treatments are bespoke to you and include a range of treatments based on your unique needs and preferences. Not only do our orthodontic braces treatments help you achieve a perfect smile, but they also help create a healthier you.

Types of Braces

Invisalign

  • Our number one choice is Invisalign. Treatment involves a set of small, removable aligners that are replaced every two weeks to gradually and painlessly shift the position of your teeth. Made from ultra-lightweight clear plastic, Invisalign braces are completely undetectable, painless, and easier to care for than traditional braces.

Traditional

  • Traditional braces, which are made of metal brackets and bands glued to your teeth. Over time, these braces are slowly adjusted until your teeth are straightened.

Ceramic

  • Ceramic braces, which work in the same way as traditional braces, but are made to match the colour of your teeth and blend more naturally into your mouth.

Lingual

  • Lingual braces, which are traditional braces attached to the back of your bottom set of teeth.

Cost

The first visit is complimentary for all children under 18 and only £50 for over 18s which will come off the treatment cost.

Treatment will be free for most children under 18* and heavily discounted for the few remaining under 18s. Our treatment prices for adults are very competitive.

We strive to make orthodontic treatment available for everyone; therefore, we offer a variety of payment options to meet every need.

*Teeth irregularity of children under 18 is measured using an index set out by NHS called orthodontic treatment need (IOTN) to determine if they are eligible for free treatment.
