Dental Implants

Losing one or more of your teeth can have a massive impact on your life.

Missing and damaged teeth aren’t just harmful to your self-image and confidence, but can also have a massive effect on your speech and eating, and can lead to serious dental problems.

Missing teeth pose a serious bone loss problem. This is because your jawbone needs the chewing action of your teeth to stimulate it and keep it strong and healthy. With missing teeth, this action is lost and the bone will begin to disappear. Bone loss causes serious dental problems but also causes your face to sink in, making you look prematurely aged.

Dental implants are the only missing teeth procedure that prevents bone loss.

Long recognised as one of the most effective treatments for missing and badly-damaged teeth, dental implants are custom-made teeth replacements that are permanently attached to your jawbone.

Comfortable to wear, dental implants allow you to talk, eat and live your life as normal. They are also easy to care for and can last you a lifetime.

In addition to reducing bone loss, dental implants also do not damage healthy teeth, making them the perfect option to achieve your perfect smile while feeling great on the inside.

How implants work

Tooth crowns are custom-made for your teeth

Dental implants are commonly made from a titanium screw that is attached to your jawbone, with a tooth crown on top. Used for single and multiple teeth, the tooth crowns are custom-made for your teeth and designed to look completely natural and be virtually undetectable. With same day procedures available, your dentist can surgically insert the tritium screws and fit a temporary crown while yours is being made.

After your implants are fitted

The implants will be given time to heal and allow the bone to grow around the implant, usually around three months. After this process, your crowns will be fitted into place, ready for you to share your smile with the world.
