Please note that we operate uniquely compared to other Perfect Smile branches. We actually do not register patients for general, routine dentistry. Instead, we are a highly specialised Conscious Sedation (IV) and Inhalation Sedation (RA) treatment centre, specifically designed to help extremely anxious patients receive complex care.

To be seen at our specialised sedation clinic, you can be referred directly by your usual dentist. They simply need to complete a referral form detailing your required treatment—along with any relevant X-rays and medical history—and send it to us for review.

We completely understand that dental phobia is very real, and we prioritise your emotional care and dignity. We offer Inhalation Sedation (gas and air) or Intravenous (IV) Sedation. Our highly trained, certified staff provide a safe, deeply supportive environment to ensure your visit is completely anxiety-free.

Yes, our sedation treatments are fully available for all referred NHS patients, subject to standard NHS banding criteria. If you prefer to undergo treatment privately, paying patients are charged independently, and our friendly team is always happy to provide an estimated quotation to guide you before you begin.

Sedation can be safely used for a wide variety of dental procedures to ensure your comfort from start to finish. This includes all restorative treatments such as fillings, crowns, and root canal therapy. We also utilise sedation for tooth extractions, covering both surgical and orthodontic tooth removals, as well as during the placement of dental implants.

If you are suffering from dental pain and are experiencing a true emergency, we will prioritise your appointment and see you as soon as possible. Same-day emergency appointments are available at our practice. For our primary IV sedation treatments, eligible patients include adults over the age of eighteen who do not have a complicated medical history. However, inhalational sedation is also available at the practice and is an exceptionally well-suited and safe option for anxious children who require dental care.
