About What Is All On 4 Dental Implants

All on 4 dental implants is a modern way to replace a whole set of teeth with just four implants instead of placing individual roots for each tooth. Traditional implants involve many surgeries and bone grafting. In contrast, All-on-4 implants use angled placement to maximise existing bone, making the procedure faster and less invasive. With this system:

    • Four implants support a full fixed bridge
    • Many patients avoid bone grafting
    • You receive teeth on the same day

This is why All on 4 dental implants offer both convenience and long-term function. You can eat, speak, and smile confidently without removable dentures.

Clinical Expertise Full Arch Oral Surgery

Full arch restoration requires planning and precise surgery. Finding the strongest areas of bone and placing each implant correctly are critical for the success of all dental implants. With all on four, the front implants are placed straight while the back implants are angled to anchor into denser bone. This allows 4 implants to function with reduced bone volume without additional procedures.

The procedure provides a fixed, secure solution to replace a full arch using just four support points, and the result is a stable bite, natural feel, and long-term confidence without removable dentures. Every case is digitally planned using 3D imaging before surgery begins. This helps place the implants precisely and allows our team to achieve consistent results, reducing risks and increasing treatment success.

Optimising implant positioning from the start allows all four implants to achieve a full mouth restoration faster. A fixed solution can be started from day one, allowing all four dental implants to support natural speech, improved chewing, and a more confident smile during the healing process.

All on 4 Expertise

1000+ all on 4 dental implants placed across our clinics, delivering consistent full arch transformations. Every case is carefully planned from the start to ensure all on four dental implants provide long-term stability, function, and lasting results.

Dr Fareed Khan graduated from Leeds University and has always had a special interest in Temporo-mandibular Joint Dysfunction. He had a paper published on this subject whilst still a student.

After graduating, he spent a couple of years in a Dental Practice but then was resident in hospitals studying Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for 3 years. Fareed then went to the USA for 2 years and studied Maxillofacial Radiology and Cranio-Facial Imaging.

Since then he has worked in our Putney practice and spent 5 years part-time at Eastman Dental Hospital studying Dental Implantology.
He has a special interest in the relationship of the Dental Occlusion to the position of the lower Jaw and the effects this may have on the TMJs and associated structures.

Fareed believes that the bite can affect the jaw position and place strain on the TMJs and jaw muscles, and therefore he has developed a protocol to realign the teeth and repair worn down teeth and replace missing teeth to help support the jaw in its natural position. Many patients have reported reduction in their TMJ and jaw muscle symptoms after this rehabilitation.

He is happy to accept private referrals for patients with these symptoms and offers consultations.
Dr Khan is now studying digital dentistry and believes the future of Dentistry is a holistic approach with the aim of healthy teeth and jaws. He also believes form and function go together so usually the most healthy position of the teeth is also the most aesthetic.

In his spare time he likes to train in his personal gym and spend time with his family.

All On 4 Timeline What to Expect

While the all on 4 dental implants surgery is completed in a single visit, the process continues as your implants integrate with the jawbone.

Initial Placement (Same Day)
Four implants are carefully placed into the jaw, and a fixed temporary bridge is attached immediately. With all on four implants, you leave the clinic with functional teeth on the same day. No visible gaps.

Healing Phase (3–6 Months)
During this stage, the implants fuse with your natural bone through a process called osseointegration. This creates a strong, stable foundation for all on 4 implants, ensuring they can handle daily chewing forces.

Final Restoration
Once healing is complete, your temporary bridge is replaced with a custom-made, permanent set of teeth. This is where the full before and after all on 4 dental implants transformation is achieved, delivering a natural look and long-term durability.

Following treatment, we provide clear aftercare guidance to help maintain your results. With proper hygiene and regular check-ups, all on four dental implants are designed to support long-term function, comfort, and oral health.
