At Perfect Smile Putney, MARPE treatment is provided by Dr Moaiyad Pacha, a Consultant Orthodontist with over 15 years of clinical experience across the UK and the Middle East. Dr. Pacha completed his specialist orthodontic training in the UK and earned a clinical PhD from Queen Mary University of London, focusing on orthopaedic jaw growth modification and skeletal facial development. He also holds advanced orthodontic qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh.
Dr Pacha has completed advanced postgraduate training in Airway, TMJ and Sleep Orthodontics across the UK, Spain, Portugal and Dubai, developing particular expertise in upper jaw development, airway restriction, mouth breathing and non-surgical skeletal expansion. His clinical experience includes roles at leading UK hospitals, including The Royal London Hospital and Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead. Alongside his UK practice, he also works internationally as a visiting orthodontic consultant in Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
Internationally recognised for his contributions to orthodontic research, Dr Pacha has led multiple Randomised Controlled Trials and scientific publications, earning prestigious awards from the American Association of Orthodontists, including the David L. Turpin Award and the B.F. and Helen E. Dewel Award.
